Carers report back after every visit, and we stay connected with you, your family, and your other health professionals to make sure your care is consistent and everyone is on the same page

In-person meeting (to get to know each other and discuss what your home care services and costs may look like)

Your care plan is put into action, reviewed every 3 months and updated, as needed, to ensure your evolving needs are met

What happens now?

We’ll give you a call! Within 2 working days, Derek, our Registered Manager, will reach out to talk through your next steps. 

How much do domiciliary care services cost?

We can’t tell you the specific cost of your domiciliary care services until we’ve met with you and understand more about your care needs and preferences. However, we can tell you that we charge the standard Long Term Care Scheme rate, and we do everything we can to keep our costs as low as possible. 

At our first in-person meeting, we’ll discuss costs with you, and where needed, we are happy to support you with your funding application.

What if my domiciliary care needs change?

As time passes, it is completely normal for your needs to change. That’s why we do regular check-ins, are in constant contact with our carers, and stay in touch with you, your family, and your other health professionals to make sure your ever-evolving needs and changing desires are being met. 

We are always a “yes” to open and honest conversations and care about supporting you and ensuring you stay at the centre of every conversation. 

How are Serene Care Jersey carers monitored?

All of our domiciliary carers are DBS-checked, meet the safe recruitment requirements of the Jersey Care Commission, and are trained, shadowed, and directly supervised by our founder and Registered Manager, Derek Ruth. 

There is nothing more important to us than making sure our care-receivers are supported by exceptional carers, and we hire and monitor accordingly.
